R&D Center of Ssangyong E&C is
accumulating advanced construction technologies
preparing for the higher-quality future construction demands.

Ssangyong E&C R&D Center seeks to enhance value by advancing technological prowess. To this end, our center is building up a repertoire of cutting-edge technologies by researching and commercializing new construction technologies and methods in preparation for future construction demands increasingly characterized by specialization and upscaling. In this light, our institution is helping to boost Ssangyong E&C’s technological competitiveness in domestic and global markets and its construction productivity through diverse efforts, including bidding assistance based on technical marketing; construction design and technology support for domestic and overseas sites; cost improvements through value engineering (VE); the application and convergence of smart construction technologies such as building information modeling (BIM), virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), a drone-based surveying and civil engineering execution platform, and automated machine guidance and control.
