Ssangyong E'C's Chairman and CEO S. Joon Kim was recently reappointed to his current position for an additional term.

The company announced on May 20 that the incumbent Chairman and CEO was reappointed to his current position by unanimous consent at a recently held general meeting of shareholders, a feat that followed his reappointment as a board director during a board meeting held on April 15.

This is his third reappointment since Ssangyong E'C accepted the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD) as its largest shareholder in January 2015.

According to industry analysis, Chairman and CEO S. Joon Kim has played a significant role in restoring the company's fortunes, since its completion of a corporate rehabilitation program, by securing overseas projects and seamlessly managing these sites, thereby earning the respect and trust of the ICD.
