Ssangyong Engineering & Construction, Opens Recruiting for New and Experienced Employees in H2 2021

Ssangyong E&C is hiring 50 new and experienced employees who will take on growing roles in the global construction leader.

 

On September 8th, Ssangyong E&C announced its plans to recruit new employees in the four fields of ▲ Construction, ▲ Civil Engineering, ▲ Electric Works, and ▲ Plants, and experienced employees in the seven fields of ▲ Architectural Construction, ▲ Architectural Engineering, ▲ Overseas Construction (Equatorial Guinea), ▲ Marketing, ▲ Urban Maintenance, ▲ Remodeling, and ▲ Public Relations. Internships (recruitment-linked) for ▷ Sales and ▷ Management will be open in October to November in H2.

 

Positions are also open for junior engineers with less than 3 years of work experience in the construction industry. Junior engineer applicants will have short-term experience counted toward their credit, while license holders in the respective fields are preferred.

 

This year’s recruitment is said to be intended to expand the firm’s capacity in domestic construction, including housing projects, and civil engineering, as well as to identify resources related to entering the green energy businesses of solar, wind, and fuel cells.

 

Applicants shall be graduates from 4-year universities, graduating no later than in February 2022 for new employees. They shall be able to work on work sites both inside and outside of Korea. Internship experience in construction firms, outstanding language skills (including English, Spanish, Chinese, and Arabic), and beneficiaries of veteran and disability benefits are given preference according to relevant laws and regulations.

 

Experienced applicants shall be university graduates with majors in relevant fields, with the requirement of at least 3 years’ experience on the job (4 years for construction and engineering, 5~7 years for overseas construction). Holders of national licenses in the applicable fields, applicants fluent in English, who can work (travel) overseas, and those eligible for veteran or disability benefits shall be preferred according to relevant laws and regulations.

 

Candidates shall apply with the necessary documentation and perform personality and aptitude tests online (waived for experienced employees), followed by virtual interviews, where the applicants are evaluated for growth potential and finally ed for hiring. The new employees ed for recruitment will be joining the firm in early November 2021.

 

A spokesman for Ssangyong E&C commented, “(Ssangyong E&C) continues hiring each year, with almost 400 new and experienced employees as well as interns hired over the past 7 years” and added, “we have opened up hiring this year with increased orders in remodeling and urban maintenance as we also prepare for our Green Energy business.”
