Ssangyong E&C awarded Koyang Sports Complex, a U$72 million project

On September 7, 2000, Ssangyong E&C, as the leader of four contractors"" group, has been awarded Koyang Sports Complex of a Korean Won 79.6 billion project, equivalent to U$72 million from the Client, Koyang City.
The project will be situated in Koyang, in the outskirts of Seoul and will provide the people of Koyang with diverse functions as new sports Mecca, comprising of a stadium, diverse ancilary sports & leisure facilities with one-story basement and a utility building, covering the total floor area of 60,400SM. The construction start-up will be soon and be completed within 38 months period.
Ssangyong was proven again its distinguished technical know-how in the construction of sports complex building, in addition to New Racecourse Project of Singapore Turf Club, Singapore Indoor Stadium, Kuching Indoor Stadium of Malaysia and domestically, Seoul Olympic Gymnastic Gymnasium, 2002 World Cup Stadium in Jeonju City and 2nd Sports Complex of Sungnam City.
