Wins development project for Daepo Port, Sokcho

On May 16, the consortium led by Ssangyong E&C won a Daepo Port development project from the Public Procurement Service for a total of KRW26.5 billion (the Company’s portion: KRW21 billion or 80%), pushing aside competitors.
The work is comprised of construction of a 610 m-long breakwater in Daepo-dong, Sokcho. The construction period is 60 months. Ssangyong E&C, for the first time in Korea, is also building fishing port facilities in Daepo Port, which will be equipped with a park, a shopping arcade and a parking lot for tourists.
