Ssangyong E&C to receive 350billion won contract for Ulji University's Uijeongbu Hospital and campus

Ssangyong E&C has announced that it will finalize the contract for Ulji University's Uijeongbu Hospital and campus, the largest of its kind in Gyeonggi area once completed.
According to Ssangyong E&C, the company has been ed as the preferred bidder for the hospital, campus and dormitory construction from the Ulji Foundation. A company official explained that the company is likely to win the final order.
The Foundation decided to commence the construction in next January after concluding an agreement with Ssangyong E&C, which came closest to the construction price of the four construction companies participating in the third tender.
Ulji University's Uijeongbu Hospital and campus will be built on the grounds of the former U.S. military base in early next year. The construction of the Ulji University campus and the Uijeongbu Hospital will take place on the 120 thousand square meter site, formerly Camp Essayons, a U.S. military base.
The goal is to complete the Ulji University campus in November 2019 and the affiliated hospital in October 2020, one year later.
Ssangyong Engineering & Construction said, "The company will be the final winner the 350 billion won Ulji University's Uijeongbu Hospital and campus project. We know that the technology and reliability we brought to the table were well received in the business proposal phase."
