With the purpose of realizing the best architecture in the 21st century, Capital Land Building is located on Robinson Road, the main commercial area in Singapore. It is more famous for the fact that the last Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew’s office was in the building. It is a tall office building with 52 stories above ground (267m).
It is considered as a highly intelligent building that represents Singapore with VIS (Vehicle Identification System) and Intelligent Display. VIS can read VIP cars and lead them to the parking lot Ssangyong E&C completed it in June 2000 after the order (203 million dollars) was placed by Pidemco Land in 1997.
The building won the best Singapore construction prize (design) in 2001 and the best Singapore construction prize (commercial building) in 2002.
