The Ssangyong Consortium, led by Ssangyong Engineering & Construction, won the project for formation of Sector-2 of the Multi Techno Valley Project in Sihwa for 160.2 billion won (the Company’s portion/58%: 93 billion won) from the Korea Water Resource Corporation on October 23, 2003.

The Ssangyong Consortium, composed of the Company, Taeyoung, Dongyang and Kusan was selected as the successful bidder, getting 90.54 points, which was 1.16 points higher than the 89.38 points received by the Hyundai Development Consortium in the design screening.

The eight-year project is designed for formation of a 2.37 million square-meter environmental-friendly hi-tech industrial complex in an area extending from Jeongwang-dong of Siheung-city and Daebudo-dong of Ansan-city and includes building four bridges and a 1.5km-long waterway.
