Ssangyong had to apply every existing subway construction techniques(NATM, TBM, Open Cut) for just a kilometer-long site, and had to move 10-land road and canal for over 50 times, for a 70 billion KRW, 700 million KRW for a meter.

Especially, the firm has achieved unprecedented 16 million man-hour hazard free record, and when the 2nd phase was opened in 26th December, 2015, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong lauded the firm, specifically mentioning the record.

Woosang Kim, Site Manager, stated that "Winning the most prestigious award in the Construction business over other global firms, we has reaffirmed that we have world-first competitiveness not only on high-end constructions, but also in civil engineering areas."
