On June 1, Korean Housing Guarantee’s credit rating for Ssangyong Engineering & Construction was upgraded by two notches to A+, the highest of nine levels, from B+, based on a comprehensive review of relevant factors, such as financial structure, management results, housing performance results, business performance capability and prizes won.

With the honor regained in 7 years after it had been graded A+ in 1997, the Company expects to be in a much more advantageous position to win orders and see its guarantee fees decreased. Korea Construction Financial Cooperatives also upgraded the credit rating for the Company by 4 notches to A from CCC on June 7.
