The King""s Garden, a multi-purpose apartment built by Ssangyong Engineering & Construction, received the 2004 Grand Prize for Representative Apartment in Korea in the sector of customer satisfaction by large-sized businesses from the Korea Economic Daily TV. The prize, launched last year, is designed for development of the nation’s construction industry and enhancement of desirable housing culture. The ceremony, held at the FKI building in Yeoui-do on November 26, was attended by Ssangyong’s Architectural Division Head Choi Jang-shik and Mr. Park Sang-yu (the ex-project manager of the jobsite), etc.

Comprised of a total of 1,391 apartments and one-room studios, the complex, located in Naesu-dong, Seoul became the talk of the town, as the site was known to be the place where generations of kings were to be born according to Fengshui belief. Thus, the entire complex was sold out in a very short time and still enjoys popularity among people.
